KOMETA — Buona vita!
-
What makes us happy?
THE CHALLENGE
In spring 2025, KOMETA introduced a new slogan. Buona vita! means “good life” in Italian. Along with the new slogan, the company — which has Italian roots — also refreshed its website and packaging. With this change, KOMETA wanted to highlight a lifestyle defined by Italian zest for life: enjoying life, enjoying food, valuing time spent together — all closely linked to movement, quality food, self-care, and being close to nature. Before launching the TV campaign, we wanted to lay the groundwork with a PR and press communication campaign.
THE SOLUTION
A good life is closely tied to how happy we are. March 20 is the International Day of Happiness, providing an excellent opportunity to find out what percentage of Hungarians consider themselves happy and what recharges them. We conducted a representative survey for communication purposes. According to the results, the good life, good company, and good food are strongly interconnected. Three-quarters of Hungarians believe that shared meals make us happier.
We presented the findings at the Buona vita! press event, held at a truly Italian venue in Budapest — Gianni Annoni’s restaurant — where guests could also cook together with the popular chef.
RESULTS
More than 10 media outlets attended the press event combined with a communal cooking experience, and the journalists shared numerous posts and videos on their social channels. Leading news portals and women’s magazines covered the press release presenting the survey results. In total, more than 40 media appearances were generated across news, lifestyle, gastronomy, and trade outlets.
